Shakin moo

this week we where at parkside and we where going to get our brief from chris lane (owner of shakin moo).
Up untill break we where planning out what questions we where going to ask and what the main infomation was that we needed from him.
The most important things we needed to find out was what the product is (milkshake) their compition how its made and ingredients the customer profile the location and the current promtions and exactly what it is that he wants us to do.
i learnt that the location doesnt look like it is in a good place because you cant really see it and there isnt really a flow of people going through so the advertising needs to be strong. i also found out that the customers that they go for are people our age because there is the university and other colleges around so it bings in them people and little kids like to go in aswell. its not just a milkshake place where you get your shake and go like shakeaway(compitition) but its more a meet up point come in get a milkshake sit down relax with your mates or if your shopping a nice place to come in sit down and stop for a while. Also Primark has been a big help on his buisness because of all the people shopping there.
Our brief was to make a graffical wrapper for the chocolate brownie that he has because the wrapper on it wouldnt really attract people to get it or to make flyers posters any way of advertising to help sell hot shakes in the winter.
After lunch we where back at parkside and typing up on the computers what our brief was and then we where put into teams and had a team meeting about what one of the brief we where going to go and how we where going to do it. Im in a group with jess and kara and we have chosen to do the hot shakes advertising. Then we typed up and printed off our brief and team meeting for our folders.
